The Ahmadu Bellos, The Nnamdi Azikwes, the Obafemi Awolowos, The Mokwugo Okoyes the Tafawa Balewas, The Joseph Tarkas, and Aminu Kanos, all began their political careers in their youth; they founded the organisations which negotiated with the colonial regime while they were youths, and assumed leadership of this country while still in their forties!

What applied to our country applied with other countries. Agostino Neto, Amilcar Cabral, Patrice Emery Lumumba, Kwame Nkrumah; the independence war and struggle leaders of Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bisau, DRC, Ghana, were all in their youth when they founded the parties that led those independence struggles.

In Southern Africa, youth played decisive roles at historic turning points in the struggle against apartheid! In Apartheid South Africa, it was the youth, in their forties and under, who founded the ANC youth wing, and in 1944 essentially took over the ANC convention, and made it adopt its youth wing program as the Freedom Charter, in a Congress Of The People convened by the ANC! This became a historic turning point in the history of the anti-apartheid struggle, led to the promotion into ANC national leadership of the ANY Youth wing leaders, and set the stage for the eventual campaigns of defiance and the establishment of the armed wing; Nkomto We Sizwe - Spear of the Nation; and hence the launch of the armed struggle.


And in more recent times, in post independent Africa, in the struggle against Neo-colonialism, youth have also played strategically decisive leadership roles. Thomas Sankara, was not yet 40, when he and his colleagues led the Burkinabe Revolution and captured the imagination of that generation of African Youths. Likewise, on the other side of the globe, in Latin America; Fidel Castro and his colleagues in what became the July 26th Movement were all in their twenties when they launched the audacious attack on the Moncada baracks in 1956 in an heroic, but failed attempt to unseat the dictator Batista! That movement went on to launch an armed struggle in 1958, and overthrew the military dictatorship after defeating it militarily in Jan 1959! Of the leaders of the Revolution, Fidel was the oldest, and he was barely 32; the rest, Ernesto Che Guevara, the younger castro, Camilo Cienfuengos etc were all under 30! The late Hugo Chavez, leader of the Bolivarian revolution, was in his forties when the movement that birthed the revolution was founded, and when he first assumed office after electoral vicory.

In Europe and the America, we can find similar instances; Tony Blair and the Blairites were in their 30s when they took over leadership of the Labour Party in Britain, and in their early forties when they took over leadership of UK Government. Nearly two decades later, David Cameron of the Conservative party and Niel Klegg of the Liberal Democrats would repeat a similar scenario in assuming leadership of the UK government - in their forties! And both JFK and Obama assumed leadership of the US at decisive and critical historical moments while in their forties!

Abuja will be an ash land ,one litre of petrol will be 15naira, one naira will be one dollar ,minimum wage will be 55000naira, University of ibadan and others will be d best in the world, there will be Nigeria aircraft Company, Anyone holding a public office! His or her children must school in Nigeria,one bag of rice will 1000naira. One bag of cement will be 250naira. Nothing like flying to abroad for medical treatments as all the miracles will be performed in Nigeria. Electricity will be the commonest and most available resources. JUDGING A BOOK BY ITS COVER…But maybe more importantly, judging by appearances helps protect us from dangerous situations.
Appearance can mislead you greatly. It takes time to sort out who is actually a good person with a strong character and who is conniving and manipulative but by using a veneer of charm and superficial physical attraction, takes advantage of others. A big, tough and strong man, who has a rough look, can be judged as scary. While on the contrary, he can have a tender heart and a sweet soul. 

Moreover, history shows many horrible crimes are carried out by people who are not considered “dangerous” simply because of their innocent and sophisticated look. Using our universities as an example, most of the cult guys were handsome and innocent looking but you can’t even begin to imagine the sort of ugly things they do ranging from theft to rape. 

Now this is in the aspect of beauty and ugliness. Which I personally believe people should not be judged with. But believe it or not, JUDGING IS PART OF LIFE I wouldn’t say it is “wrong” to judge people based on appearances. Judging appearances is a major element of human life (animals too). Because of judgments, we are able to determine what types of friend circles will make us happiest and what kind of mates we wish to select to be with for the rest of our lives. But maybe more importantly, judging by appearances helps protect us from dangerous situations. Would you not judge a menacing looking figure in a dark alley just because it’s “not nice” to judge? Or will you see a man with lots of tattoo, a bottle of jack daniel with a wrap of indian hemp playing loud music from his car while smoking and think of him the same way you would think of a reverend father? Will you see a mature woman, half nude, with red hair,tattoos etc on the road and regard her as an angel? 

Whether we admit it or not, judging people based on appearance is most times an unconscious thing! Its ok to Judge… No, it is not wrong to judge people on their physical appearance. If you are driving through an unfamiliar area late in the evening and notice a group of males with gang symbols, multiple piercing and their underwear sticking up above their waistbands standing around on a street corner, you are going to make an instant judgment based on their appearance, and you are going to keep driving without stopping to ask directions. 



There are times when judging someone by their physical appearance can literally save your life. If you are an angel, why should you be dressed up like the devil and expect people to see the angel in you… If you are a Doctor, will you get patients dressing or looking like a road side mechanic. While we go on talking about “NOT JUDGING A BOOK BY ITS COVER” let’s not forget that we are addressed the way we are dressed. In the aspect of Ugliness and beauty, I can’t judge anyone. But your dressing speaks a lot about you and might not avail you the chance to prove that indeed you are an angel… And note that ATTRACTION is based mainly on physical appearance and first impressions so we judge unconsciously. 

We have all been judged and we have all judged. Judgment will never stop, so if you are an angel, don’t appear like a devil because there may not be an avenue for you to prove yourself… No one sees a loving heart, a kind soul through the devil.

MONEY, SEX & POWER these three words taken together or separately, come across as highly banal, an inherent paradox in our era. Not a day goes by when we aren’t faced with the reality of these words.

These topics are still considered taboo nowadays? They are eminently and constantly relevant: the power of sex; power and politics; money and power; sex and drugs; sex and violence; the weaker sex; rich sex; sex toys; the ecstasy of money; power and seduction; power and glory… Sex, Money, and Power: these three words come up again and again in the biggest scandals of History and of our time. All the while, they are a reality that hails from the origins of humankind. Whereas Sex hovers in the sphere of innate and archaic needs--sexual relations--money and power involve more intricate and sophisticated pleasures. We live in an era of dematerialised forms of money, in an era of outrageous powers, of blatant and unashamed sex. Such is the reality of our time, and no one is immune.

These trio are the fundamental pillars of society. They act as interchangeable units of currency. Money can buy sex, while people use sex to get money. Power attracts money, and money creates power. People want to make a lot of money so that they get power and sex. Having a lot of money is not necessary to have a lot of sex if you project inner-strength (power).

For women, their primary currency is sex. Sex is all about power for them. They give their sexuality to men of value (alphas) in order to feel their masculine power. Betas have a hard time attracting women because they do not radiate this particular power. They are weak and harmless. This is why we have the misconception that “rape is about power” parroted around. This is purely a feminist perspective. Women use their sexuality as power, while men do not. Rape is considered a serious crime because it usually consists of a low value man taking away female power (sex) without giving anything in return    

When it comes to your own power, you have to learn how to project it. Game is simply discovering how to make your dominant side shine. It has been there all along, you have merely suppressed it. Showing more alpha traits does not make you fake.

Choosing money over learning game will definitely give you some results, but your lack of knowledge about female nature will end up fucking you over in the long run. Gold-diggers will be trying to get at your shit, and you will be ignorant enough to let them get close to you. Maybe one of them will “accidentally” get knocked up after digging one of your condoms out of the trash.

 
 

The best choice of course is to develop your personal power while making money. Balance your life so that you build all of your pillars evenly.
Life is so much more rich and fulfilling when you yourself are in control of where you are headed. I think that most people give this precious control to others because they are not comfortable to own up to their personal mistakes. They probably think “oh, if I did what he told me to then it’s not my fault.” It IS your fault because you are ultimately the person with the choice. This is why “NO” is such a word of power. When you tell people NO you are stopping them dead in their tracks from imposing themselves onto your frame.


The sexual marketplace is completely neutral and devoid of feeling. If you are on the losing end of the bell-curve, nature does not give a damn about you. The world will seem hopeless and dreary. You are not entitled to women unless you make your life interesting. On the winning side of the bell-curve, sex is a never ending buffet. 
Just like any other market, the sexual market operates through exchange. If you have nothing to sell, you will not get anything in return. Selling comfort and “twoo wuv” is the same thing as trying to sell air. No one will ever “love you for yourself” because people love what you represent. They love the traits that you exude. This love may be genuine, but certainly not unconditional.

I came across a friend sometime ago, we had quite a long discussion till she finally told me she's had no talent; i thought to myself, 'she must be joking right?' NO! The expression on her face confirmed she he actually meant it.

My dictionaries defines TALENT as a special endowment, natural ability or aptitude. it could be creative,  artistic or special physical ability.
I certainly belong to the class that believe everyone has a talent, it only takes deep cogitation to discover. Personally think i am a bundle of talents; i can cook extremely too well i can almost make you want to wipe your plates dry with your tongue *lol,  my dancing isn't bad at all, and i still can make good drawings; well that just enough about me. 




In Cashing on your talent(s), it is necessary for you: 
Identify Your Likes or Hobby(s) list  and identify all the things you enjoy doing your interest, your best sport, your best subject or your strength.

 Practice Practice & Refine just as the saying goes practice makes perfect. Spend time rehearsing extensively till you become a master. Refine your talent this might require you take some training in mastering how well to use the talent in different settings.  

Develop your own personal style Although it is fine to imitate someone whose work you admire, it’s important  you Develop your own personal style this gives it you some form of uniqueness and an extra edge over others who share the same talent as you. To build a rather quick successful path, you must be willing to do some things for free and also know when to stop.


Network extensively  By so doing, you get to rub minds with people who have the same or similar talents as yours. Rehearse with them and develop how you can improve yourself.  The social media is one sure way to network; display your talent on your profile, follow related figures or what-have you. Tell people when opportunities arises about what you can do & before you know it, words begin to spread gradually.

Finally, A platform or Opportunity to exhibit your talent Always seek opportunities to show case your talent; strike out your fears and show what you've got. lookout for Talent shows, Auditions, competitions, CookOuts,  Conferences, Concerts, Exhibitions. Popular ones include: Idols, Mtn project fame, X-factor etc. 

If at this point you are still wondering what I am saying, It is simple. As a student, you should not let your academics hinder you from discovering & exploring your God given talent; there is more to academics than just attending lectures. Your talents can serve as an alternative means of income for you.

Can sex during pregnancy cause a miscarriage?
Although many couples worry that sex during pregnancy will cause a miscarriage, sex isn’t generally a concern. Early miscarriages are usually related to chromosomal abnormalities or other problems in the developing baby — not to anything you do or don’t do.

Orgasms can cause uterine contractions, but these contractions are different from the contractions you’ll feel during labor. Orgasms — with or without intercourse — aren’t likely to increase the risk of premature labor or premature birth. Similarly, sex isn’t likely to trigger labor even as your due date approaches.

Are there times when sex should be avoided?
Although most women can safely have sex throughout pregnancy, sometimes it’s best to be cautious. Your health care provider might recommend avoiding sex if:
-You have a history of preterm labor or premature birth

-You’re leaking amniotic fluid
-Your cervix begins to open prematurely (cervical incompetence)

What if I don’t want to have sex?
That’s OK. There’s more to a sexual relationship than intercourse. Share your needs and concerns with your partner in an open and loving way. If sex is difficult, unappealing or off-limits, try another type of contact — such as cuddling, kissing or massage.

After the baby is born, how soon can I have sex?
Whether you give birth vaginally or by C-section, your body will need time to heal. Many health care providers recommend waiting four to six weeks before resuming intercourse.
This allows time for your cervix to close and any tears or a repaired episiotomy to heal. If you’re too sore or exhausted to even think about sex, maintain intimacy in other ways. Stay connected during the day with short phone calls, email messages or text messages. Reserve a few quiet minutes for each other before the day begins or while you’re winding down before bed. When you’re ready to have sex, take it slow — and use a reliable method of contraception if you want to prevent a subsequent pregnancy………

Our minds are limitless in capacity and power. It is like an ocean containing within it the impressions of enormous experiences of the past, which influence us and shape our thought-patterns and desires. They often surface unexpectedly and force us to think and act in a particular manner that surprises ourselves. The inexplicable urges and drives are beyond our control. They seem to emanate from the unconscious and sub-conscious parts of our minds.
This does not mean that we are totally helpless. Though occasionally such mental tsunamis are caused by the secret parts of our own minds and overwhelm us, we are mostly concerned with the conscious part of our minds and ego. The term ‘mind’ generally means to us only the conscious part of our minds that allows to be disciplined, though not very easily.
Regulating our minds is achieved broadly by disciplining our thoughts. For this purpose, we may equate our minds to a given space used by us for keeping things. How do we use the residential space available to us? We classify our possessions in different categories and allot suitable spaces for them. We have sacred objects that we keep in puja room; we have valuable and confidential things that we keep in cupboards and lockers; we have books that we keep in shelves; we have equipment like TV, computers and so on that we keep in convenient places; and we also reserve some elbow space for our rest and movement. If there are things that would be useful only in future, we keep them separately in lofts. If there are useless things, we throw them away. Whether it is your table-top or residence or office, if you do not classify your possessions and arrange them properly, your life would become chaotic.



Similarly we should regulate our mental space. Though theoretically the mind has limitless space, in day-to-day life we are concerned with the conscious mind that would be healthy only if kept well-organized. The memories are like things. Some of them are sacred; some of them are useful always; some of them are useful only in future; some of them are useless; some of them are harmful. We should not preserve all the memories in the same manner. We should deliberately retain the good ones permanently; we should also jettison the bad and harmful memories as early as possible.
Thiruvalluvar has advised that forgetting good happenings is not good; it is good to forget the bad instances on the same day. (Nandri marappathu nandrandru Nandrallathu andre marappathu nandru. Thirukkural 108) He has made it very clear that the act of forgetting is a matter of our choice.
Many people make their lives miserable simply because they forget their fortunes and blessings; but tenaciously remember all the unfortunate things happened to them from childhood. Even such unfortunate instances may have a useful content, i.e. the lessons to be learnt from them. We should remember those lessons that would be useful to us at some time in future; the rest of it, the negative emotions should be forgotten once for all.

I wasn't even going to address this issue before but I better lend my voice.
Since the news about legalizing child marriage broke out, various comments have been posted and various points of views argued.

I'd divide the comments into two major parts: the people who support and the people who defend! Notice I didn't say ones against, I said the people who "defend"
Its very ironical that its most Christians that are establishing the fact that it isn't a religious fact. We have said that its just some few wicked men in power that are using religion as a cover.
But there are some few people who are giving flimsy and stupid excuses to defend the indefensible.

If you want your voice to be heard,why don't you speak for what is right? Must you give pointless arguments to post your name in the annals of record?
What kind of people would support paedophiles! Can you imagine the rubbish points they are bringing out: That some girls have become sexually active since they were 12, that some young girls "wait for 500 naira after they've been slept with and bla bla bla
The question is: The men who rape the girls when they're young, what rule or law is there for them to be castrated? The shameless old men who pay 500 naira to sleep with desperate girls, who have been affected by the negative effects of the negligence of leaders and all of us to the development of Nigeria, aren't they ashamed of themselves that they want to pursue this barbaric acts? 
Some even say we have the girls as house girls. They cook,clean and wash the clothes. It must be that the propounders of this "flimsiness" haven't had maids in their house for if they did have,they'd know that its the women of the house that tell them what to do and train them on how to act properly.

 

Furthermore,there are always people who would do bad things in a country; we can't all be good! But imposing this opinion from a bad egg is extremely not acceptable!
How dare you defend people whose only basis for legalising a demonic law is a religion that is not national?!
Its bad enough that these delusional men passed that law,its worse that youths sit at their computers and think with their legs supporting this rubbish! If you do not have anything sensible to say, shush your mouth!

I advised already that we should pray for this country! Instead of you to make arguments that are religious inclined, why not pray for this country! Why support men who do not have the fear of God? Are you blind,deaf or insensitive?!
Deep down inside you, you know its wrong. Thank God we all have that gumption! We know the truth but because of unhealthy bias, we close our hearts and ears to it! 
It doesn't make sense even in the ears of an house girl! If that's who you're "fighting" for!
 
This isn't the time to have those religious battles! It's a time to come together as one and lend our voices to stop these terrible law!
We will not agree to this wickedness!

Local media, on the 10th of November 2013 ravaged my rabbit-like hearing organs with this strange piece of information. One that alternates easily between grief and amusement. Should your curiousity get the better part of you (an occurrence I am hoping happens not), always remember that it is just fiction.
