Many African ladies will end up singles for life because of media exposure- it is so disheartening how a lady will glue her eyes on a mobile phone from morning to night, only to raise it up to focus on television to watch another celebrity entertainment channel. Tell me, what else will dominate this lady’s mindset aside how to live a fake celebrity life being promoted on television channels?

2. Many African ladies now dislike cooking and home chores just because they had been totally brainwashed by movies showcasing men playing the role of women in a family, and due to excessive exposure to modern media that promotes gender-equality­­­ in a destructive way that’s aimed at destroying the unique African family setting that made our previous African marriages everlasting and envious to the westerns. Now, with this attitude, how do you expect a African man to desire to marry when he knows he is only buying more headache and trouble than helper for himself?

3. Excessive makeup turns most decent and serious-minded men off- if you have observed, you will discover that most men dislike excessive makeup, and more don’t even like it at all; reason they often times discourage their true loved ones to do away with it cos it speaks ill of a lady even though so many men will applaud and complement you for looking like an Egyptian mummy. A slight makeup is okay; but if you are out for marriage, try always to look simple and natural, it will attract better men, decent and serious-minded,­­­ except you are still living in your high school life and not thinking towards marriage.

Think, work towards equipping yourself so that you can be a value and also add value to his life to convince him that you are worth committing to. Adding value to his life isn’t by giving him money, or material gifts, nope….good counsels, being his best friend, helping him attain his goals in life, lending him moral, mental and spiritual support, and by not just being a liability that only bring requests and problems to be solved.

6. Your Friends Run Your Life- how do you expect to find a husband when you still allow your clique of friends to be dictating which man you meet is worthy of your love and which is not? When will you wake up and face the fact that those your best friends even though they cherish you, wouldn’t want you to marry before them or to marry the best man?

7. You Give Everything Out During Dating- As a single lady who has not been taken to the altar, you need to reserve some things for your husband to be, especially your body, respect it and preserve it at all cost. In the past, men rushed to marry to get certain things or privileges they had been constantly denied while being single. Such privileges include and not limited to: constant sex and companionship, good food and tidied home, etc. But today, a single man gets even the best and of course more of constant sex, good food and excellent home-keeping more than his married counterparts, so tell me how the hell you want him to desire to marry you when you have given him virtually everything he desires from a wife while being his girlfriend? And the most painful part of it all is that he knows that you are prepared to cut down on sex supply, cooking, home-keeping, etc once he marries you, so why would he not want you to remain his girlfriend for life?

8. You Package Yourself Wrongly- in your attempt to look sexy, adorable and maybe appealing to guys, you have derailed from appealing to appalling. In fact you look more whorish than modest; more distractive than attractive, and more disgusting than adorable. Your dressing style determines who gets attracted to you most times. If you dress high school, only high school-thinking­­­ guys will be attracted to you, and if you dress excessively sexy and provocative, only randy men will come to you for urgent satisfaction of their immediate sex urge, so don’t be fooled by media hyping of certain kinds of dressing, they are meant for certain set of ladies you wouldn't like to be associated with, be careful. Remember, not all clothes that look sexy are good for a seriously searching for a soul mate single lady.

You Lack Manner, Character, Wisdom and Good Home Upbringing- definitely, your ‘hot girl’, ‘pretty girl’, ‘sexy girl’ looks will win you so many men; both the good, and the bad, but your inner beauty, your character and manner are the things that will determine whether any of those men would stay or run after accomplishing their evil missions. In order words, do away with nagging, being possessive, challenging with men in negative ways, the mentality of ‘what a man can do a woman can do better’, a lie devil has used to deceive and destroy so many ladies today, please do away with it.

You must also take a cue from Wole Soyinka,who is miles ahead of you, that sometimes, one fights with his sword or pen and sometimes easy does it as he exemplified during the military era!
You might also learn from the tortoise who upon breaking its shell still went on to insult the ants that help gather its back which left its shell rough to date! I know its a folk tale but it sure helps to learn, that you must take care not to offend the horse that will lead you to your destination!

I can win all battles is what led Hitler to his grave!

 To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. 
If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world. 
However, Christmas is based on an exchange of gifts, the gift of God to mankind – His magnanimous gift of His Son, and the gift of mankind to God –when we present our bodies a living sacrifice. 
Therefore, we can never truly enjoy Christmas until we look up into the Father’s face and tell Him we have received his Christmas gift, and present ourselves to Him likewise. Here's wishing us all a very merry Christmas!

       Life is short, but it is really worth it
 
  LIFE is short, but it is really worth it. Life is short but it may be pretty long and worthy if we make the best use of every moment. Life may be quite interesting and meaningful if we endeavour to love truly, live completely, learn continuously, forgive quickly, laugh uncontrollably, sleep wholeheartedly and break the rules. 
 
  Life is beautiful, life is wonderful and life is a precious gift from our Creator. The blue sky, the illuminating stars, the magnificent moon, the secret night, the sunny sun, the blissful fresh air, the heavy downpour, the astonishing green forest, the morning dew, the flying birds and the laughter of friends make life special.
 
  I can see friends shaking hands; I can see lovers whispering to each other’s ears, I can see mothers changing their babies’ diaper. I can see a beautiful family eating together.  I can see people settling their differences. I can see couples walking down the aisle. I can see mothers praying for their children. I can see fathers taking care of their responsibilities, I can see teachers impacting knowledge, I can see students learning voraciously, I can see problems solver proffering solutions to humanity problems. I can see foetus quickening in her mother’s womb. I can see people sacrificing for others. I can see the voiceless being given a voice and the hopeless being given a hope. All I can see is the beauty of the world, the beauty of life, the beauty of existence. 
 
  Life is pain, suffering and agony. I can see people fighting wars. I can see friends betraying each other. I can see leaders embezzling money. I can see husbands beating wives; I can see mothers burying their children. I can see fathers neglecting their responsibilities. I can see a beautiful lady crippled on her wheel chair, I can see a young, handsome and promising man asking for euthanasia, I can see the rich oppressing the poor, I can see the strong neglecting the weak, I can see injustice instead of equity. I can see pains in the eyes of men; I can see sufferings in the midst of abundance. I can see tears in the eyes of the oppressed. Life is beautiful but it is not a bed of roses. Life is wonderful but we can’t do without experiencing some kinds of pains, stress, frustrations, confrontations or challenges. Life is a rare gift from God but it is not cheap, there is always a price to pay. 
 
  Life is a combination, a mixture and a concoction of the good and the bad, the sweet and the bitter, the ugly and the interesting, the beautiful and the dull, the wonderful and the not so beautiful. Life is filled with twists and turns, potholes and bends, challenges and repulses, problems and setbacks. 
 
  But here is the good news; the vicissitudes of life depend on our attitude. We can decide to see channels of opportunities instead of challenges, setforths instead of setbacks, re-firing instead of repulses, steadfastness instead of stress, possibilities instead of problems and discovering instead of difficulties. 
 
  We have what it takes to smile through our pains, sufferings or disappointments. Besides, we have all it takes to celebrate our victory, success, conquest, triumph or progress without going out of limits. God has bestowed on us the capabilities to be in charge of our emotions, willpower and mind. In addition, He has blessed us with the abilities to make our decisions and choices in life, to see life as beautiful while others may perceive it as dull, to appreciate our life and make it worthy while some folks may decide to play away with theirs, to have the confidence and believe to challenge what is challenging us and become victorious. Indeed, He has equipped us with the right gadgets to live completely, love truly, learn continuously, forgive quickly, smile uncontrollably, appreciate sincerely and never regrets what made us smile. 
  I can see you overcoming your sufferings, I can see you turning your pains to gains, I can see you using your agony to change things around for your good. I can see you having hope regardless of what you are facing. I can see you harnessing opportunities in the midst of adversities. I can see you manipulating your challenges into channels of progress. Oh yes, I can see light at the end of your tunnel.
 
  Rise up my friend, stand on your feet and say no to your defeat.   Believe in yourself regardless of what others may think. Have faith in God no matter what you are passing through. Conquer your fear and take calculated risks so that you can conquer the world. Smile always no matter how bad your situation may be. Remember, it is not what happens to you but what happens in you. Forgive no matter how cruel people were to you and most importantly never give up on God and yourself because the first and the most important ingredient that makes life beautiful, wonderful, meaningful and worthy to live is the belief that success, greatness, happiness, victory, conquest, eminence, affluence, peace, triumph, joy, opulence and love are achievable and attainable. 
 
  The happiest people on planet earth do not have everything but they make the best use of what they have. A beautiful life is not the absence of challenges or overcoming problems, obstacles and disappointments, it is smiling through them. It is a common knowledge that life is short, but it is really worth it. Your Excellency, if you love truly, live completely, learn continuously, forgive quickly, laugh uncontrollably, appreciate sincerely, sleep wholeheartedly and never regret what made you smile.
