1. Zombie Apocalypse     

Police kill naked cannibal who was chewing off a man's face June 2012: Miami  It doesn't get much creepier than this: A naked man was shot to death by Miami police as he was reportedly gnawing off the face of another man. The Hannibal Lecter-esque scene unfolded Saturday afternoon as crowds poured into South Beach for a hip-hop festival.  First, the police were flagged down by a passerby cyclist. A police officer arrived, and seeing the ghoulish sight, ordered the crazed man to stop. When he continued to chew on his victim, reportedly eating about half his face off, the naked attacker was shot and killed, while the victim was hospitalized with critical injuries. the only gunshots heard were the ones fired by the police that killed Rudy Eugene, now known to be the "Miami Zombie".  Third, Rudy was shot three times in the thorax and seemingly had no effect!  That's when he growled at police like the flesh-craving undead and continued gnawing.  He was then killed by an headshot, which is the only way to kill a zombie. lastly, Rudy Eugene was high on methylenedioxypyrova​lerone (or Bath Salts)... NOT cocaine.  And "cocaine psychosis", otherwise known as stimulant psychosis in the medical community,  rumor has it that Rudy Eugene was experiencing excited delirium, a much more serious and distinct condition.  Excited delirium manifests as a combination of delirium, psychomotor agitation, anxiety, delusions, hallucinations, speech disturbances, disorientation, violent and bizarre behavior, insensitivity to pain, fever, and superhuman strength.  In other words: A zombie. 2. Woman gives birth to horse in Edo Nigeria September 2012 

The horse given birth to by a woman in Benin City, Edo State, on Tuesday. A woman purportedly gave birth to a foal (horse like) creature, otherwise known as a baby horse, on Tuesday, at the World Liberation Ministry, on the old Benin-Sapele road during the church’s prophecy programme. The strange creature, which threw the church members into panic, had died by the time journalists visited the church following the strange occurrence. He said during prayers he had a revelation that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb. According to him, as prayers intensified, the woman started screaming and began to bleed and eventually gave birth to the creature.          3. Fire devil 

Australia.  Nature's not much for subtlety. Just ask Chris Tangey, the man who watched in awe as a 100-foot-high (30-meter-high) whirlwind of fire tore around a patch of Australian Outback on Tuesday (Sept. 11). Tangey, a filmmaker, managed to capture some very rare footage of the startling phenomenon while out scouting locations near Alice Springs, Australia, according to The Australian. One term for the event he recorded, a fire tornado, is a misnomer, according to Mark Wysocki, New York's state climatologist and a professor of atmospheric sciences at Cornell University. The columns of spinning fire are much more similar to dust devils than tornadoes, Wysocki said.
